The Crew School · Inside the course

What's inside the Crew School.

The Crew is a full design course that grows with you. You start with an instant set of lessons the day you join, then a new lesson opens up each week — around five months of fresh material, in a deliberate order, so you're never staring at an overwhelming wall of content. Here's exactly what to expect.

Before you start · Good to know

No prior design experience needed — but you'll want to be reasonably confident with technology.

You'll need a Canva account and a Pinterest account. No other tools required.

This isn't a technical, click-by-click course on tools like Canva. We touch on Adobe and specialist platforms for understanding — but it's not an Adobe course either.

We sprinkle in AI tools where they're relevant. We're adopting them in real time, and share what we learn along the way.

The day you join

Your Quick-Start pack: "See Like a Designer"

Four lessons open the moment you sign up — the ones that change how you look at your own work overnight, with almost no setup. By the end of week one you'll already see things you couldn't before.

01

02

Contrast vs Harmony

04

A new lesson every week

One fresh lesson, every week.

From there, one fresh lesson opens each week. The course builds through three stages.

Stage 1

Keep the momentum from your quick-start going while easing into the foundations of good preparation.

  • Scale & White Space

  • Layout & Composition
  • Tone of Voice & Copywriting

  • Logo Design · Design Research
  • How to Design to Purpose · Creative Direction
  • Mood-boarding, Thumbnailing & File Specs
  • Thoughts on AI for the Creative · Finalising the Design Brief

Stage 3

Shipping Work

Preparation done, this is where you make and finish real work — the satisfying part.
